An intriguing memory from my early days in the third year of my studies revolves around a question posed by my professor: "What is your trait?" At the time, I struggled to grasp the meaning of "trait".
After the lecture, I found myself haunted by this question. It dawned on me how I had been mimicking others, attempting to "steal" aspects of their personalities and clumsily integrate them into my own. I began to see my personality as a puzzle, with fragments of different people's traits that I struggled to assimilate. I felt compelled to incorporate these traits to cut away parts of my identity.
